(Paterson, N.J. – June 19, 2024) – Due to a water main break, Passaic Valley Water Commission (PVWC) has issued a boil water advisory for residents and businesses in South Paterson, specifically these areas:
- Route19 to East Railway Avenue
- Madison Avenue to Genessee Avenue
This advisory is effective immediately and will remain in place until further notice.
Immediate Actions Required:
- Boil Water Before Use: All water for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, and washing dishes should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute. Allow the water to cool before using.
- Alternative Water Sources: Please use bottled water if boiling is not possible.
Reason for Advisory:
The advisory is a precautionary measure to ensure the health and safety of our community, our number one priority.
