The DOT contractor is scheduled to do water main work on Valley Road and any customers serviced from the  16” water main between St Philips Dr and Van Houten Ave will have their service interrupted. The following shutdown notice was left at the following addresses:

• 818 Valley Road, Clifton
• 810 Valley Road, Clifton
• 796-798 Valley Road, Clifton
• 634 Valley Road, Clifton
• 628 Valley Road, Clifton
• 624 Valley Road, Clifton
• 620 Valley Road, Clifton
• 616 Valley Road, Clifton
• 602 Valley Road, Clifton

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve service to our customers, Passaic Valley Water Commission (via Union Paving & Construction) will be doing water main construction on Valley Road near St Philips Drive in Clifton on October 5th.  The water will be shut off between the hours of 9AM-4PM.   

This effort will result in some unavoidable noise, disruption of service and discoloration to the water.  PVWC assures all customers that the water will be safe for use during this period; however, customers are cautioned to determine if the water is clear before washing clothes (or any other processing) as staining may occur.
