INVITATION TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids for performing the Contract identified below will be received by the Passaic Valley Water Commission, at its offices located at 1525 Main Avenue, Clifton, New Jersey on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at 10:30 a.m., local time, at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read.
CONTRACT #20-B-29 SUPERVISORY CONTROL AND DATA ACQUISITION (SCADA) SUPPORT SERVICES
Information and Instructions for Bidders, Specifications and other Contract Documents may be obtained at the Purchasing Department of Commission upon payment of a $40.00 fee which will not be returned.
Bidders shall comply with the requirements of the Local Public Contracts Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq. as supplemented and amended; Disclosure Notice (P.L. 1977, c 33) N.J.S.A. 52:24.1 and Affirmative Action Requirements. (P.L. 1975 c 127) N.J.S.A. 10:5-32 in addition to other applicable State Laws.
Work consists of furnishing SCADA support services on-site at the Passaic Valley Water Commission (PVWC)’s Little Falls Water Treatment Plant site at the intersection of Union Boulevard and Riverview Drive in Totowa, New Jersey and at various remote sites in PVWC’s distribution system.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference and site inspection will be held on Tuesday March 17, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time at the Passaic Valley Water Commission’s (PVWC’s) Little Falls Water Treatment Plant located at the intersection of Union Boulevard and Riverview Drive in Totowa, New Jersey. Representatives of the Owner will be present to discuss the project. In the event a bidder cannot attend the pre-bid conference and site inspection of the Owner’s facilities, a prospective bidder may schedule an inspection of the Owner’s facilities up to 6 days prior to the bid opening date. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the pre-bid conference and site inspection.
The successful Bidder for the Contract shall be required to comply with the prevailing local minimum wage rates as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor.
Within the parameters established by governing law, the Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the Proposal received and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder.
